Did you know that Anne Bruvold has a video where she slips a post shuttle onto the loop for the second half of the ring, rather than doing finger tatting? I always use this method (invented by Matthew Takeda), although instead of one shuttle, you really do need two - but the second one is just a 'tool' to make the stitches easier to do!
